About Us

Navya is a PhD researcher focusing on human-robot communication at the University of Amsterdam. She has a Bachelor's degree in psychology (BSc (Hons) Psychology, 2019) from University College London, UK and a Master's degree in human-machine communication (MSc HMC, 2021) from the University of Groningen, Netherlands with an additional honours degree. She has worked with organizations across the globe such as Cornell Tech, TNO, and the Hult Prize Foundation, among others. Mental health has been a lifelong passion of hers, and she started Sarg with Saahil as the first step in actualizing her vision to reshape the mental health dialogue in India. At Sarg, Navya is bringing together her broad knowledge base, primarily that of psychology and technology, to improve mental health literacy in India.

Saahil is a motivated, self-sustaining and productive entreprenuer. He keeps himself up to date with the entirety of the automotive industry along with global design and technology industries. He is very passionate about futuristic technologies, automobiles, design, food and architecture. He loves to solve problems with a design-based thinking approach and prides himself in creating optimal, efficient solutions to problems that are faced by him and his teams.

Tanya is an alumna of University College London, where she completed B.Sc. (Hons) Psychology and M.Sc. Clinical Mental Health Sciences. During her undergraduate and graduate years, Tanya’s area of focus was anxiety and stress disorders, specifically PTSD. She investigated low-intensity cognitive interventions to prevent the occurrence of intrusive memories of traumatic events. Ultimately, Tanya would like to develop accessible, transdiagnostic clinical and preventative interventions for mental health problems, particularly for underserved and underrepresented populations and those in low-resource settings. To this end, Tanya leads the Research and Development team at Sarg to design novel interventions to improve mental health literacy in India, and equip individuals with the knowledge and skills they need to develop positive mental health.

Anushree has a masters degree in social work, from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Currently working full-time in the space of girl child education, she has been associated with many on-ground organizations in the past- working with women, children and in the health sector. She is highly interested in studying children and their family relationships, especially in forced migration settings. She hopes to be able to explore the lives of children in vulnerable situations and make a difference through her work.

Ealisha is currently pursuing her Masters of Science in Neuropsychology, with Christ University, Bangalore. She has completed her BSc in clinical psychology and taking the leap from clinical psychology to neuropsychology came very naturally to her. She hopes that mental health and wellbeing is not something people look at as a taboo, but something that can be encouraged!

Jyotsna is a masters student studying clinical psychology at Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal. Jyotsna only formally learnt about mental health when she was 18. It made her think about the small but significant changes she could have made in her life and the life of others if she knew about it earlier. Awareness is the first step to change. Through Sarg, she hopes to be a small voice of change.

Arti is an ambitious individual who is currently enrolled in a master's program for clinical psychology at the National Forensic Sciences University in Gujarat. Her ultimate goal is to establish a career in the research field, where she hopes to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and contribute to the advancement of psychology as a whole. Through her involvement with The Sarg Initiative, she strives to bring about positive societal transformations.
